Our Story
Oh hi there!
We are Sean and Emily. Husband & wife, photographers and adventurers, content creators that live in Switzerland. Over the last few years we have travelled to over 55 countries. Our whirlwind love story involves long distance, motorbikes and lots of love letters.
When we are not home, you will find us outdoors exploring and adventuring our way around the world. We travel the world hand in hand, discovering new places and making memories.
We fell in love with the magic of Montenegro, the busy streets of Minsk, the coffee shops of Vienna and the beautiful vistas of Albania. Our aim is to inspire others to discover unique places with us as we document the details of our travels.
Sean
Sean’s passion for life is contagious, his eyes light up when he senses an adventure coming. He's spontaneous and passionate with a wild spirit and craves the freedom travel provides. Sean has rode motorcycles for many years and has travelled to over 55 countries. Sean has been riding motorcycles since the age of fifteen and inherited his passion from his father, with his love of travel he has always been on the move. From backpacking around Japan to bungee jumping in New Zealand, Sean is always up for an adventure. You will never find Sean without his Swiss Army Knife and an action camera.
Emily
Is an adventurer at heart who’s childhood was spent dreaming of seeing the world and being immersed in its diversity. She has a passion for writing and loves to document her adventures through story telling. Caring and passionate in all she does, her resolve is inspiring. Just as at home in the city as she is in the wilderness, her curious mind and determined spirit enables her to take on every challenge in her stride. She will never set out on a trip without her camera and trusty water bottle.

What are both your roles within Sean and Emily travels?
In our adventures, Emily is the creative powerhouse, skilfully capturing moments as a photographer and bringing stories to life through writing, design and editing. She plans our events, trips, and tours, and creates visually stunning content.
Meanwhile, Sean takes charge as the expert navigator, steering our adventures and capturing breath taking scenes with his videography and drone piloting skills. Sean transform our memories into cinematic wonders through video editing. Additionally, he manage the business side of things.
In our partnership, Emily's creativity harmonizes seamlessly with Sean’s technical expertise. Together, we craft a blend of creativity and adventure that forms the foundation of our endeavours.

Sean and Emily together crafted, created and coded this entire website.
What do you use to edit your photos and Videos?
We mostly use Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
What camera/equipment do you use?
We have a few different cameras but we mostly use GoPro/DJI and Canon but you can find all our equipment, cameras and more on our equipment page.
Who takes your photos?
We take all our own photos mostly using a tripod and a self timer or a remote control.
What motorbike do you own?
We have owned a BMW R1200 GSA for 8 years now and have no plan to ever let it go. We also own a BMW R1250 GSA named “Shadow.”

Our History
Their history was intertwined in the most beautiful way. They grew up 5KM away from each other’s childhood homes, their family’s were friends, but they never expected them to fall in love.
Sean left his small village to travel the world in search of something special. Japan, America, Fiji, New Zealand, his desire took him across the world. Meanwhile Emily was back in the UK hearing tales of Sean’s escapades from mutual friends. Emily moved to Paris to have her own adventure, they followed each other on Instagram, when one day Emily posted a photo of a motorbike. A notification from Sean appeared on Emily’s phone … they haven't stop talking since.
Sean jumped on a plane to take Emily on their first date in London, they talked for hours about the countries they wished to visit.
Telling each other their travel story’s, Sean's years living in New Zealand travelling around on his 125cc motorbike and Emily’s tales of midnight train journeys around France. Their connection was undeniable, they were meant to be. Sean lived in Switzerland, and Emily was in the United Kingdom. Long distance wasn’t easy and most of their dates were in airport lounges. Sean flew to Emily every other weekend, travelling 1000s of kilometres just for a few hours together. They realized how precious every minute together was and started planning their future.
Sean promised Emily he would take her around the world. Sean never breaks a promise. They got married in a small ceremony and Emily moved to Switzerland soon after. The last few years have been road trips, backpacking and pure adventure. They wanted to share their travels with their family and friends. They loved the idea that they can take them along wherever they go.
With Emily’s desire to write and Sean’s eye for photography they combined their two worlds to create Sean and Emily Travels.
